Safety and Security
Believers Church takes the safety and security of our children and church at
large very seriously. Our security safeguards are multifaceted in order to
provide the safest possible environment for our church goers to worship God.
Our Children's ministry is covered in multiple layers of protection from education/training of volunteers and staff to 24/7 monitoring via live feed cameras and our church security team.
Training
We believe that knowledge translates into safety. Anyone that serves or works in proximity to children and youth must complete a comprehensive background check and appropriate training to educate adults on best practices for protecting the children in our care. Background checks are updated on a yearly basis.
Church Security Team
There will be members of the security team present for each service and church sponsored event. The Security Team is made up of men and women, many of whom are in law enforcement or have military service experience, who are dedicated to ensuring the safety of those attending church. There are team members stationed at various locations at all times, including all children's areas. Each member of the security team has completed a comprehensive background check and passed the required training, including any training provided to the members of the Children's Ministry team.
