God calls us to a life of giving. Not just giving monetarily, but giving of ourselves, time, and energy. We believe that the only way to live a fulfilled life is to invest your life into other people. Jack Hayford once said, Giving is the key to everything.

Malachi 3:10 says: Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. We are challenged by God to put Him to the test and see if He will bless us as we give.

Jesus encouraged the Pharisees in Matthew 23:23 to not neglect the weightier matters such as justice and mercy but they were also to continue tithing. Why? Because God wants us to be blessed and He wants us to be able to be a blessing to others.
