Next Steps at Believers Church
At Believers Church, we want to help you grow in your faith by taking the next steps in your walk with Jesus. Here are the steps we encourage everyone to take:
- Attend regularly and experience Jesus
- Place your faith in Jesus as your personal Savior
- Declare your salvation publicly through water baptism
- Complete the Firm Foundations class, where you'll learn the basics of Bible study, prayer, and spiritual growth
1. Next Step: Newcomers Social
(1st Sundays, after each service)
Everyone has four basic human needs: to Know, to Be Known, to Feel Needed, and to Belong. Our Newcomers Social is a great way to learn our vision and meet leadership of Believers Church! The Social is immediately after each service on the first Sunday of the month. We provide light appetizers and your children can stay in their class until the social is over. You may come feeling like a newcomer, but you'll leave feeling right at home!
2. Next Step: Life Groups
(2nd Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:30 PM)
Learn the why's and how's of our small groups at Believers Church. Life Groups run on a quarterly schedule with short breaks in between. You will receive a Life Group schedule break down at this Next Step class.
3. Next Step: Membership
(3rd Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:30 PM)
Everything you need to know about Membership at Believers Church. It's not a requirement that you join if you take this class, but this will give you the knowledge and resources to make the decision if membership is the best fit for you and your family.
4. Next Step: Ministry Teams
(4th Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:30 PM)
Discover the joys of serving on a Believers Ministry Team! This Next Step class will tell you everything you need to know about serving on a Ministry Team here at Believers. We do ask that you take your Spiritual Gifts test to get ready for this class. You can access them at these links or click on the QR code on the Ministry Teams Pic. This Course Bible Study, Prayer and other Foundations for the Christian Life.
Pastor Scott offers this course during the Winter and Summer Life Group Quarters (See the current life groups for reference) or you can go through it on your own by scanning the QR code.
